From Earth to the Moon, from the harmony of worlds to the conquest of space, the night sky has always fuelled the imagination, a reflection of Man’s understanding of the world and his place within it. Fascination still prevails despite advances in scientific knowledge and the (temporary?) remoteness of magical thinking. It gives rise to hyper-technological speculations which reflect a recent period when the belief in infinite progress seemed obvious. But technological research is opposed by the conscience of a global order that goes beyond Mankind and redefines our place in the universe.  Playing on both scientific and imaginary registers, the students of ESAA La Martinière Diderot have come up with a work that explores an alternative perception.

Artwork created by the students of the Higher Applied Arts Diploma (DSAA) specialising in graphic design, under the supervision of P. Rodière from the Trafik agency and D. Pilloix & E. Durif-Varambon, teachers.
