Revealing the infra\visible

Space odyssey offer an exploration of our galaxy borders, challenging the limit of our perception and our comprehension of the universe. Thanks to telescopic view, we can scan these distant landscapes to learn, discover and dream. But why go so far when just under our eyes, our hands and feet the world to discover is just as immense ? Can we go that far in the very close ? Can we use the word “universe” for microscopic and atomic elements ? What would be the reality of such a space odyssey ?

This project and reflexion is led by the physicist Joël Chevrier, professor of physics at the University of Grenoble and responsible of the master program in nanotechnology and nanosciences. His current research focuses on the development of instruments using Scanning Electron Microscopy. He is also developing his activity in the Liphy laboratory in Grenoble specialised in soft matter and in the Interdisciplinary Research Center (C.R.I) in Paris.

Artwork created by the student from the Master in interaction design from Villefontaine and organized by the educational team : J.B Joatton, S.Chatagnon, K.Vennitti, S.ALbert et M.Crinon.
