Beside his main alias, Somaticae, Amédée De Murcia leads rhythmic excursions filled with breaks and caught in a swarming bath of saturation and feedbacks. As the author of numerous recordings, flirting with adventurous techno and a resolutely noise-based approach, Somaticae mainly plays among the crowd, offering livesets filled with impactful and abrasive constructions.

Amédée de Murcia has attempted to numerous festivals and venues, among which can be named the UH Fest, Villette Sonique, Vision, Sonic Protest, the Gaité Lyrique, Instants Chavirés, Ateliers Claus, Grrround Zero and Cave12.

Zoë Mc Pherson is an interdisciplinary artist. Her work String Figures is an ongoing trans-global art project fusing electronic sound, ethnomusicological research, video art and choreography into a rich audiovisual tapestry that collapses worlds, histories and timeframes. Released via SVS Records in March 2018 with a series of films directed with Alessandra Leone, the album explores an array of dualities – traditional/contemporary, organic/electronic, historical/futuristic – with its core theme of string as one of the most ancient and playful art forms with seemingly infinite possibilities. Her live sets and kinetic AV performances occupy a singular space at the intersection between forward-thinking club music, audio-visual culture and sound art, with recent performances including La Concrete Paris, Kaiku Helsinki, Meakusma Festival Eupen, De School Amsterdam, Boiler Room Berlin, Nottingham Contemporary and Beursschouwburg Brussels where she was associated artist in 2016-17. Her mixes are hypnotic, textural, percussive and powerful. Recent mixes include Room 4 Resistance, Rinse, Red Light and NTS radio.

Ossia’s sound world is an amalgamation of heavy-weather, beyond-good-and-evil soundsystem poetics, channelling raw and rootical techno, isolationist abstraction, and dub at its most turbulent and raw-nerved and space-time-warping. Through running a range of record labels and being a member of Bristol’s Young Echo Sound, he has amassed a wide knowledge and in-depth understanding of music that informs his own skewed, futuristic drenched-in-dread aesthetic and his unhinged take on soundsystem & club music.
Following a run of 12″ releases for Berceuse Heroique, Blackest Ever Black and a selection of his own labels, his latest album ‘Devils Dance’ sees a return to Blackest Ever Black – channelling tail-thrashing dancehall pressure and art-of-darkness ambience and introspection.
Ossia embodies the best tradition of Bristol underground music and has become notorious for bending the rules of genre & club convention. His live and DJ sets encompass a very contemporary and idiosyncratic well of influences: grime, techno, jazz, steppers, dub, post-punk, industrial abrasion and concrète minimalism… Rattling between moments of suspense and high-powered dancefloor mania with constant twists and turns.

Owner, producer and designer at Big Science, he released tracks as Warzou since 2019 on Nous (US22), Kump (KUMP005) and Mystery Booms (MYSTB002). Started in 2013 with club acid tracks on That Place (TPL001, TPL003 – as VFR), deejay resident at Le Sucre with PALMA from 2014 to 2016, and Ambassade Club during 2017 and 2018.
